Updates: Photo Gallery Slideshow, RSVP Notifications, Web Page Title, and More!

We would love to share some of the updates and tweaks we’ve released recently!

Photo Gallery: New Slideshow Option


We’ve tweaked the photo gallery layout to now include a new slideshow option. By default, the slideshow will automatically run when you load the gallery. Like before, you can scroll through all the photos going back and forth on the main image but also go directly to a photo from the thumbnails. You can pause and play the slideshow at any time with the new button in the lower left hand corner of the gallery.

RSVP Notifications: Designate a Separate Email Account


We’ve now made it possible to send RSVP email notifications to a different email account from the one associated to your account. For example, if you created a wedding email account, you can send your RSVP notifications to that account so both you and your fiance can be notified.

Web Page Title


We added a new field to the “Settings” page in your WeddingWoo Dashboard. This will set the <title> tag of your website, so you can customize it. The field is used by browsers, search engines and other websites. For example, if you want guests to have a better chance at googling your website, you can input your full names.

Scheduled Events: Text Editor on Description


We added a text editor to the Description field when you add/edit an event on the Schedule page. This will allow you to do a bit more with customizing the content on events.

Wedding Date Removal Option


It’s now possible to remove the Wedding Date field if you choose not to utilize it.

SoundCloud Continuous Play

We’ve tweaked the way our pages load, so that the music can keep playing. Previously, when the SoundCloud widget was playing and if a guest clicks on any of your pages, the music would stop and have to be restarted. If it was set to autoplay, then the music would start over from the beginning. Now, the music will play without interruption.
